The Zagorka plant has been founded in Bedekovčina city in 1889 and it is one of the first Croatian plants which produce and develop clay and chamotte products.
The plant has been operating in its present form since 1995. The production portfolio includes shaped and unshaped refractory materials for the metallurgical, chemical and petrochemical industries, thermoelectric plants, for glass, lime and cement industry. They produce ceramic refractory lining for fireplaces and stoves on solid fuels and pellets. The last field they have entered is the production of ventilated ceramic facades.
Approximately 70% of total revenue is achieved with sells on European Union markets such as Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria… and Serbia.
The plant operates in accordance with the following certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 which permits to implement a risk analysis tool, reduce the business exposion to risk, and complay with a host of internationally recognized management systems.
